32 years

We are coming up on 32 years in business. Things have changed a lot since we started, but things are changing back in a lot of ways to the way they were back then.

That’s not necessarily a good thing. eBay is dying because the people who run it are clueless. I don’t think eBay will be around in 5 or 10 years.

I don’t think any of the selling platforms are going to be around in 10 years because they are all making similar mistakes. I’m not going to go into detail about what they are doing wrong because I don’t want to spend hours writing this.

We started out selling to buy sell trade type stores and then we eventually moved onto the flea market. We opened our first eBay store back when it was the original format and we were getting cash, checks etc in the mail.

We stopped selling online for a while back when it got to the point where 9 out of 10 buyers were scammers, and we opened brick and mortar stores. The next chapter of our business is going to be a combination of all of the models that we’ve used over the years.
