How the store got its name.

A little over 2 years ago our dog, a pit bull named Red died on November 18. An incompetent vet failed to realize that he had been bitten by a venomous snake, so he gave him a steroid instead of anti venom. Red died, and we were all completely devastated. We had been selling on other platforms for years, but things kept getting worse on those platforms.
We had all this inventory, but we didn’t want to spend all of our time dealing with the nonsense on those platforms. We wanted to do something that would help keep Red’s memory alive, and also help us build the business we always wanted.
We wanted to be able to sell vintage clothing for a decent price because on the selling platforms you are forced to price it however they tell you, or it won’t sell. Unfortunately it’s that way for anything that you try to sell on those platforms. The platforms themselves decide what everything is worth, but the majority of the time they don’t really know what they’re doing.
We also want to be able to sell physical media and books, and not have to lose money on it. We want to be able to sell modern and designer clothing and accessories.
We want to be able to sell antiques. We want to be able to sell toys. We want to be able to sell collectibles. We want to be able to sell anything that we want without having to build a hundred different accounts on those platforms that really don’t work anymore anyway.
We want to be able to not just build the store, but also build a community where people can come to buy things that they might not be able to find anywhere else.
It’s about sustainability. Being able to keep these things in circulation and out of the landfill. All of this while also honoring the memory of our best friend, Red.
